Richmond Community College’s College and Career Readiness program has expanded its partnership with the Richmond County Rescue Mission at the Place of Grace Campus in Rockingham, North Carolina.
Through this partnership, CCR offers on‑site High School Equivalency preparation, Digital Literacy, Financial Literacy, and Essential Life Skills courses for residents and community members.
The program recently launched an evening ESL class that welcomed 22 students on its first night, demonstrating the strong demand for accessible education in the area.
By bringing education directly into the community, Richmond Community College continues to remove barriers and provide opportunities that support workforce preparation and long‑term economic mobility.
