Career Pathways

Career Pathways

“Come train for the job of your dreams. If you don’t have your high school diploma, don’t worry. We can help with that along the way.”

Career Pathways allow individuals to enter into many educational fields of study at any point in their educational journey. Students build their skills with stackable credentials as they work toward employment that offers a family sustaining wage and/or toward post-secondary education that leads to their desired certificate, diploma or degree.

Many students enter a career pathway through Integrated Education and Training (IET) courses while in College and Career Readiness programs. Integrated Education and Training offers individuals the opportunity to work toward an industry recognized credential in the field of their choice while pursuing their high school equivalency, adult high school diploma or while working to improve their English language skills.

Offering Career Pathways and IETs is a requirement of WIOA Title II under Consideration 8 in the AEFLA Funding Agreement.

Daniel may want to write a sentence before the last one on the page (about the IET portal) that says IET templates are submitted through Moodle

In order to capture Measurable Skills Gains 3, 4 and 5 programs must have an approved IET. Please submit IET templates here.
