Destiny Lee, a Franklin, North Carolina native, discovered her passion for culinary arts while participating in the College and Career Readiness program.
After progressing through the High School Equivalency program and pursuing culinary classes, she began searching for a job that would allow her to continue building her skills.
Working with CCR staff, Destiny developed her résumé and professional skills before applying for local opportunities.
She was hired as a work‑study intern at Market Square Patisserie in Franklin, where she now helps bake traditional Scottish, German, and Austrian pastries. Destiny hopes to continue learning techniques and eventually open her own bakery.
