Description: The purpose of this session is to provide information about High School Equivalency (HSE) tester eligibility in the state of North Carolina, as well as the documents that can be accepted to verify an eligible tester’s identity. The session will highlight relevant policies from GED Testing Service, from HiSET and its parent company PSI, and from North Carolina’s state policy pages for both testing publishers. Please note that this session will be mandatory for all HSE chief examiners in North Carolina; any chief examiners who are unavailable to attend this session are asked to attend one of the following alternate options instead:
o Monday, April 21 – 10:00am
o Monday, April 21 – 2:00pm
o Wednesday, April 23 – 9:00am
o Wednesday, April 23 – 3:00pm
