Workplace Literacy: An Old Idea Presenting Opportunity for Current Growth

NCCCS Workplace Literacy providers at A-B Tech CC, Fayetteville Tech CC, Literacy Together, Mayland CC, and Surry CC.
Target Audience: CCR Directors, Program Coordinators, Curriculum Developers, and Instructors
Description: Workplace Literacy programs help increase enrollment, boost participant outcomes, and underscore the role of Title II providers in local workforce development. Hear how local providers are partnering with employers to help current employees level up their literacy skills. This interactive webinar will walk participants through identifying employer needs, designing programs collaboratively, developing contextualized curriculum using authentic workplace materials, and documenting outcomes— including Measurable Skill Gains (MSG Type 4). Local providers will share real-world experiences and models. Participants will leave with practical tools, partnership strategies, and actionable steps to launch or strengthen workplace literacy initiatives in their communities.
